Packing

So I have been putting off packing or practise packing as I hate it.

I laid out everything I'd collected to take &..... 'oh my God' I couldn't imagine it all fitting...

.....well it did't so I removed the spare jumper, some clothes and the inflatable camping mat as ringed in red:

and it pretty much fitted. I was quite ruthless with toiletries etc. and minimal with clothes....

......after this summer, living extremely simply made me realise how little you really do need and has changed my view on a lot of things.

I have exchanged my shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for a small bottle of eco soap that is concentrated and I can use it for washing clothes etc.

For three months I only used two sets of clothes alternately, so what I've taken for this trip is a little more.....three sets.

I have a small sleeping bag liner and mosquito net and I'm taking my chrome-book of course.

I checked in yesterday for my flight and they have been badgering me to upgrade to business class....you can bid for a price to upgrade.....I didn't explain the pricing in the video below properly but this is what they sent me

.....needless to say I didn't go for it. I figure its only a few hours of my life and I'm already on a tight budget!....I'd rather spend the money on a trip or activity or something interesting.

So .......just 29 hours to go before take off....I hope
