Lake Rotoroa

27th December 

The lake next morning was magical, and the sun was shining!



Did a beautiful walk through the forest 





Then driving over to the West coast the scenery was breath-taking - pictures just don't do it justice......





Reached Westport on the west coast where there was a nice nature reserve 



Then the coastal drive towards Punakaiki 







Stayed in a very sweet little campsite owned  by a couple who charged $10 cash. Camped next to a couple from Christchurch in their car roof tent, who gave me tips on places to visit etc.
